For his directorial debut, Adam J. Monroe changed not only his name – the 30-year-old ex-manager, who’s been fired last month by his client, Lara Croft, says, he’s not feeling unlucky, with the happening – he’s left -, he could finish the movie’s script more beautifully. Though more and more people think, Adam’s movie about his relationship to Lara Croft, will be just another Hollywood-flick, he says, we only have to wait.
The “Blueberry Kisses”, he named the movie this way, is now the most-anticipated movie after films like Harry Potter. “These days, I’ve been attacked by people like those who don’t know the whole truth about us. We gave that interview for nothing, if I can say. There are still people who don’t get the message. With ‘Blueberry’, I wanna tell you, what you should feel when you look at us. After watching this movie, you’ll change your thinking about me’.
Why did you leave, really? ‘I left with a good reason. You couldn’t say it was ‘fireing me’ or ‘I left because she wanted’. It was our choice, we decided together this way, and I’m happy about it. And what I’m going to do after all? Well, I’ve already got a project, as you may know’.
Adam didn’t let himself fail: in “Blueberry Kisses’, he had only signed thouse people who were really there when something happened – after this, Larson Conway-Croft, Mara Jade, John Croft and Rich Sullins will be appearing. Lara won’t be returning? ‘She said no, and I accepted it. Though I’m still hoping she’ll change her mind’.
‘Blueberry Kisses’ will premiere on 17 August 2012 when Adam became her manager, four years ago.
